hello

My name is Jeff Rogers, and I’m the owner of Creative Impulse, Inc., a graphic design company I founded in 1990. I specialize in brand development for companies of all shapes and sizes, as well as talking about golf and why it’s so hard.

While I have expertise in all facets of the design process, I especially enjoy logo design/development. This is where it all starts: the creation of a business’s personality.

​

In general, my overall goal is to keep the process simple and produce meaningful, effective design, on schedule and within budget, while providing my clients with consistent customer service and a few laughs along the way. This approach has been integral to the success of my design business. (Also, talking about why golf is so hard and how a person can play this insane sport for over 40 years and still be a 22 handicap! I mean, come on! Oops, sorry, I digress—back to why you should want to hire me.)

I studied graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and graduated in 1984 with a BFA in graphic design. My studio is headquartered in Sykesville, Maryland, but I also have offices around the world. Just kidding, I just have the one location and it’s in my home. (Oh, and Friday is pajama day. I’m happily married and have three outstanding daughters and a dog named Oscar who stares at me while I eat.)
